3. a) Read the descriptions of the most common illnesses and their symptoms. From the box, find the Ukrainian equivalents for the words and word combinations in bold type.
One of the illnesses that doctors most often treat is a common cold (1). The symptoms of it are a runny nose (2) and sneezing /'sni:zin/ (3). If you have flue /flu:/ (4), you can have a very high temperature and a bad headache. You can also start coughing /'kDfin/ (5). If the temperature is not very high but it hurts when you cough, it may be pneumonia /nju: тэишэ/ (6). Many people nowadays have allergies /'xbdyz/ (7). They may have a red rash /гагґ/ (8), watery eyes (9) or start sneezing.
